Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Traditional Course - $198 Course, $56 Student eBook Required

Recommended for: Healthcare professionals and medical personnel who may respond to pediatric emergencies. Also recommended for participants interested in this field.

PALS Traditional Course is designed for first-time students. Students must be able to identify basic ECG rhythms prior to attending. The PALS Traditional Course is designed for pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare providers who care for infants and children. The PALS Traditional Course teaches participants:

• To recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest
• Strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children
• Skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest

Course Length: ALL DAY - The PALS Traditional Course is a one day class which may take up to 8 hours. The certification class is offered as a popular extended one day class

BLS Provider Add-On
The BLS Provider Class may be added-on to the PALS Provider class during your registration process. 

eBook Available for Purchase: Purchase eBook during registration or bring your own. The CPR Lady Training Center supports Internet/Wi-Fi for eBooks. Student is required to have the PALS Provider Manual for this course. If you already own this or have access to this before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase an eBook at registration.

PALS Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA): REQUIRED All students must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment prior to class.

• Find the course name: PALS Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA). Find exact course name.
• Once you find your course, click the red button “LAUNCH THIS COURSE” to begin.
• A score of 70% or greater is required. Multiple attempts are allowed until a passing score is achieved.
• Print Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) Score Report and Certificate of Completion. Bring BOTH to class.

Note: If you haven’t already logged in, the system will ask you to do so. If you haven’t visited the site before, you’ll be prompted to set up an account.

Receive AHA eCard next business day!  Course Completion eCard is issued next business day. Class confirmation, driving directions, PALS Study Guide and code for accessing REQUIRED PALS Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) will be emailed to you following registration

Course Location: The class is held at The CPR Lady, Inc. - 15375 Barranca Pkwy J-106, Irvine, CA 92618. The CPR Lady, Inc. is located in the TriQuest Business Center in Building J Suite 106. Major cross streets are Barranca Parkway and Technology Drive. Enter on either Barranca or Technology.

CEs Available! The CPR Lady Training Center has been accredited as an Authorized Provider to offer CEs to Dentists (DDS or DMD), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Paramedics (Medic), Pharmacists (RPh), Physicians (MD), Physician Assistants (PA), Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP or RT), Registered Nurses (RN) and Nurse Practitioners (NP)

Students must request CEs at the time of class, state their profession, give their license number, and sign the CE Roster. CEs cannot be issued after the class is completed and closed.

BLS Provider Add-On

BLS Provider Class may be added  to the PALS Traditional Course during registration process. This allows you to get both AHA eCards on the same day while only completing the additional BLS material not covered in the PALS Course - BLS written exam and Adult skills testing. The CPR Lady will provide a BLS Study Guide to assist you with the written exam.
