ACLS Traditional Update is designed primarily for healthcare professionals in emergency departments, intensive care units, critical care departments, surgical areas, or pre-hospital environments, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency. The ACLS Traditional Update Course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest, symptomatic bradyarrhythmia, tachyarrhythmia, acute coronary syndrome, and acute ischemic stroke.
Course Length: ALL DAY - The ACLS Traditional Update Course is a one day class which may take 6-8 hours. The certification class is offered as a popular extended one day format
The BLS Provider Class may be added-on to the ACLS Provider class during your registration process.
The ACLS Prep: ECG may be added to the ACLS Traditional Course during registration process.
eBook Available for Purchase: Purchase eBook during registration or bring your own. The CPR Lady Training Center supports Internet/Wi-Fi for eBooks. Student is required to have the ACLS Provider Manual for this course. If you already own this or have access to this before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase an eBook at registration.
ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA): REQUIRED All students must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment prior to class.

- Find the course name: ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA). Find exact course name.
- Once you find your course, click the red button “LAUNCH THIS COURSE” to begin.
- A score of 70% or greater is required. Multiple attempts are allowed until a passing score is achieved.
- Print Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) Score Report and Certificate of Completion. Bring BOTH to class.
Note: If you haven’t already logged in, the system will ask you to do so. If you haven’t visited the site before, you’ll be prompted to set up an account.
Receive AHA eCard next business day! Course Completion eCard is issued next business day. Class confirmation, driving directions, ACLS Study Guide and code for accessing REQUIRED ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment will be emailed to you following registration
Course Location: The class is held at The CPR Lady, Inc. - 15375 Barranca Pkwy J-106, Irvine, CA 92618. The CPR Lady, Inc. is located in the TriQuest Business Center in Building J Suite 106. Major cross streets are Barranca Parkway and Technology Drive. Enter on either Barranca or Technology.
CEs Available! The CPR Lady Training Center has been accredited as an Authorized Provider to offer CEs to Dentists (DDS or DMD), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Paramedics (Medic), Pharmacists (RPh), Physicians (MD), Physician Assistants (PA), Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP or RT), Registered Nurses (RN) and Nurse Practitioners (NP)
Students must request CEs at the time of class, state their profession, give their license number, and sign the CE Roster. CEs cannot be issued after the class is completed and closed.
BLS Provider Add-On
BLS Provider Class may be added to the ACLS Traditional Course during registration process. This allows you to get both AHA eCards on the same day while only completing the additional BLS material not covered in the ACLS Course - BLS written exam and Infant skills testing. The CPR Lady will provide a BLS Study Guide to assist you with the written exam.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Prep: ECG
The ACLS Prep: ECG may be added to the ACLS Traditional Course during registration process. The ACLS Prep: ECG Online Course is a self-directed eLearning course designed for Students preparing to take an ACLS Course. This course is ideal for healthcare professionals who require basic review of rhythm recognition skills related to the ACLS algorithms. A good, comprehensive review at a bargain.
