HeartCode BLS is a fast and high tech, official American Heart Association (AHA) Self-Directed Comprehensive online CPR course. HeartCode BLS allows Students to take the BLS Provider course on a computer followed with Skills Testing with an Instructor, instead of attending a traditional classroom based course.

KeyCode: Your keycode to the American Heart Association HeartCode BLS Online is sent in a separate email. If you have any questions about this course, please contact help@onlineAHA.org or call 1-888-242-8883 9AM-5PM CST Monday-Friday.

The best browser to use on AHA website is Chrome. When registering on AHA  you MUST use the email that this KeyCode was sent to.

Directions: Complete the online session prior to your appointment time. Student MUST bring printed Certificate of Completion to the Skills Session.

Course Length: Online class averages 1.5 hours / Skills Session 45 minutes to 1 hour. Online Key is emailed to you once you complete registration. You must complete the online portion at home before your appointment time and bring the Certificate of Completion to the Skills Session.

Receive AHA eCard next business day!  Course Completion eCard is issued next business day. eCard is the same AHA Course Completion eCard you would receive from taking a traditional class.

Course Location: The class is held at The CPR Lady, Inc. - 15375 Barranca Pkwy J-106, Irvine, CA 92618. The CPR Lady, Inc. is located in the TriQuest Business Center in Building J Suite 106. Major cross streets are Barranca Parkway and Technology Drive. Enter on either Barranca or Technology.

The CPR Lady Training Center has been accredited as an Authorized Provider to offer CEs to Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Personal Trainers (CPT) with American Council on Exercise (ACE), Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM),National Council of Strength and Fitness (NCSF), and National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT), Dentists (DDS or DMD), Dental Assistants (RDA), Dental Hygienists (RDH), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Paramedics (Medic), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), Psychiatric Technicians (Psych Tech), Occupational Therapists (OT), Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA), Personal Trainers (CPT), Pharmacists (RPh), Pharmacy Technicians (PhTech), Physician Assistants (PA), Physical Therapists (PT), and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA). 

Students must request CEs at the time of class, state their profession, give their license number, and sign the CE Roster. CEs cannot be issued after the class is completed and closed.

The American Heart Association is authorized to offer AMA Credit Designation Statement to Physicians, AAPA Credit Acceptance Statement to Physician Assistants, AANP Credit Acceptance Statement to Nurse Practitioners, ANCC Credit Designation to Nurses, ACPE Credit Designation Statement to Pharmacists, Continuing Education Accreditation to Emergency Medical Services for the online portion of course. Credits are claimed on the AHA website.
