Preventive Health and Safety For Child Care Providers is a classroom-based course designed to meet the 8-hours of California Emergency Medical Authority (EMSA) state licensing requirements for child care.- $99 Course. The training includes information about infectious diseases, immunizations, preventing childhood injuries, disaster planning, caring for children with special needs and identification and reporting of child abuse.
This course includes 1- hour of Childhood Nutrition and the resources and benefits of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), plus 1-hour of Lead Poisoning Prevention.
Recommended for: Adinistrators and employees of child care centers and family child homes. Required for Preschools, Daycare, Child Care Workers.
**This class meets the requirements for the CPR and First Aid portion of California Title 22 and EMSA for Child Care Providers and School Bus Drivers. The CA State law requires a Student to complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and watch the Asthma video online.
**This class is NOT for Healthcare Providers (Please take our BLS Provider Course if you are in healthcare!)
