ACLS INSTRUCTOR CANDIDATE: $435 Instructor Course, $81 (tax included) Instructor Manual Required, $10 shipping, and $56 ACLS Instructor Essentials

Purchase Manual during registration or bring your own to class. Many Instructors choose to pay to have it shipped to them for an additional $10. The book shipping option is not available for Instructors registering within 7 days of class.

PROCESS OF BECOMING AN INSTRUCTOR: AHA’s criteria for becoming an Instructor.

• Be accepted by an AHA Training Center prior to enrolling in the Instructor Course. The CPR Lady Training Center automatically aligns all Instructors who take The CPR Lady Instructor Courses
• Have current American Heart Association ACLS Provider eCard and be proficient in all the skills. ACLS Provider may NOT be taken online-MUST BE CLASSROOM COURSE
• Prior to class successfully complete the ACLS Instructor Essentials Online and print the Certificate of Completion
• Successfully complete the ACLS classroom Instructor Course
• Successfully complete being monitored teaching in an ACLS Course within three (3) months of completing the classroom Instructor Course

INSTRUCTOR MANUAL POLICY: CAN BE ADDED ON TO INSTRUCTOR CLASS DURING YOUR REGISTRATION PROCESS. AHA policy states, "Each student must have the current, appropriate textbook readily available before, during and after the course." The ACLS Instructor Manual MUST be brought to the class.

The ACLS Instructor Manual may be purchased from The CPR Lady. The Manual can be picked up prior to class  or mailed for an additional fee. The Manual is mailed about 2 weeks prior to class.

The Manual is required to complete the ACLS Instructor Essentials Online.

ACLS INSTRUCTOR ESSENTIALS (Required):
CAN BE ADDED ON TO INSTRUCTOR CLASS DURING YOUR REGISTRATION PROCESS.

Completion of the Instructor Essentials Course is required to become an AHA Instructor.

The ACLS Instructor Essentials Course online is designed to prepare Instructor Candidate to teach AHA Instructor-led and blended learning courses, show how to adequately use AHA Instructor teaching materials, ensure that Student meets learning objectives, offer Student coaching skills, provide an objective skills performance evaluation, and follow AHA Instructor and course policies. The Instructor Essentials Course is an online, self-directed, and discipline-specific course. The ACLS Instructor Essentials is purchased from The CPR Lady at registration. A keycode is emailed to access the Essentials Course. The ACLS Instructor Essentials is a one-time only requirement. The Essentials are mailed about 2 weeks prior to class.

Student MUST have ACLS Instructor Manual to complete ACLS Instructor Essentials.

Continuing education credits are offered by AHA for the ACLS Instructor Essentials Course.

Upon completion of the ACLS Instructor Essentials Online Course, the Instructor Candidate prints a Certificate of Completion which must be brought to the classroom Instructor Course.

All keycode sales are final. Keycode cannot be returned once it is issued.

TRAINING CENTER ALIGNMENT: American Heart Association requires Candidates to align with Training Center when signing up for an Instructor Course. The CPR Lady Training Center automatically aligns all Instructors who take The CPR Lady Instructor Courses and does not charge an additional alignment fee.

If Candidate is aligning with another Training Center, please inform The CPR Lady Training Center in advance and bring a completed “Instructor Candidate Application” to class signed by primary Training Center's TC Coordinator.

COURSE MONITORING: Instructor status is granted, and an Instructor eCard is issued after the Candidate successfully completes the Instructor Course and demonstrates his or her teaching skills while being monitored during an ACLS Course. The monitoring must take place within three (3) months of completing the ACLS Instructor Course. If Instructor Candidate is aligning with another Training Center, monitoring will be done, and Instructor eCard issued by primary Training Center.

COURSE LOCATION: The class is held at The CPR Lady, Inc. - 15375 Barranca Pkwy J-106, Irvine, CA 92618. The CPR Lady, Inc. is in the TriQuest Business Center in Building J Suite 106. Major cross streets are Barranca Parkway and Technology Drive. Enter on either Barranca or Technology.

CEs AVAILABLE! The CPR Lady Training Center has been accredited as an Authorized Provider to offer CEs to Dentists (DDS or DMD), Paramedics (Medic), Pharmacists (RPh), Physicians (MD), Physician Assistants (PA), Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP), Respiratory Therapists (RT), Registered Nurses (RN) and Nurse Practitioners (NP)

Students must request CEs at the time of class, state their profession, give their license number, and sign the CE Roster. CEs cannot be issued after the class is completed and closed.
